
Broken glass from the Kinburn spit. Representatives of public organizations brought more than 150 bags of sorted bottles to Mykolaiv for recycling.
Glass was transported by truck through Kherson. After the car arrives, it is weighed. Weighs 9.5 tons. Mykola Hruby is the head of the Kinburn CO. For three months, he and his colleagues sorted garbage. Mykola Hruby says:
On the territory of the Kinburn Spit, there are recreational points, where since the beginning of the season appropriate containers have been installed, in which plastic, glass and organic matter are collected. We take the organic matter once a week to the nearest landfill in Golaya Prystan. During the season, we collect and sort garbage, we see the consequences of this action. We collected KamAZ glass.
This is the first recycling load from Kinbourn. Broken unsorted glass in bags. The cost of a kilogram is 30 kopecks. Alla Lipeykina, an employee of the point of reception of secondary raw materials, says:
We send the broken glass to the Odesa glass factory. It will be processed there. Then the same bottles or some other glass products will be made from it. We are mediators between factories, enterprises and the population. For example, anyone can bring and hand over raw materials to us.
