In the Mykolaiv Zoo, a container in the shape of a fish was installed to collect plastic caps.
Fish sculpture - welded from rods, painted in golden color, frame structure. Its volume is about half a thousand liters. The fish will be unloaded according to the capacity. The collected plastic will be sent to Odessa for processing.
“This fish is from Kinburn. We installed the first fish on the Kinburn spit, to collect plastic bottles. And this idea appeared later. This will serve as an impetus for sorting garbage from a small child to all members of her family," says Mykola Hruby, a representative of Kinburn CO.
According to the director of the zoo, Volodymyr Topchy, the sculpture is not only useful, but will also serve as a decoration for the institution.
